StormFrame

StormFrame Support

Let’s get your weather view working.

StormFrame 1.0 provides U.S. radar and National Weather Service forecasts on supported iPhone and Android phones.

For an immediate threat, use official National Weather Service products, NOAA Weather Radio, Wireless Emergency Alerts, local emergency management, or emergency services.

Contact

Email brandankeen@gmail.com. Include your phone model, operating-system version, StormFrame version, the screen involved, and what you expected to happen. Do not send payment-card information, store passwords, or private access tokens.

Radar or map is unavailable

  1. Confirm the phone has an internet connection.
  2. Use the latest-frame control and wait for the source/time strip to refresh.
  3. Try the other included radar product or another radar site.
  4. Open Settings and clear downloaded weather caches, then retry.
  5. If the app labels the source stale or unavailable, do not interpret a blank map as “no storms.”

Forecast or current conditions show the wrong place

Current conditions name the observation station used. That station may be outside the selected city because StormFrame chooses the nearest recent, usable official observation.

Location permission

StormFrame remains usable without location permission. If permission was denied, use your phone’s Settings app to allow location while StormFrame is in use, or continue with search and map selection. StormFrame does not need background location.

StormFrame Pro purchase or restore

StormFrame does not process refunds directly. Use Apple’s purchase support or Google Play’s refund workflow, as applicable.

Privacy and local data

You can delete saved locations, clear re-downloadable weather caches, keep Mapbox telemetry disabled, revoke foreground location permission, or uninstall the app. Read the complete StormFrame Privacy Policy for details.
